Week 24, 2026
Coverage window 5–11 June 2026.
For the interpretation of this week, why the agent-plus-MCP convergence matters and what it changes for vendor evaluation, see the companion essay: Weekly MarTech Signals That Matter to Me: Part 7, Week 24.
This page is the record; the essay is the read.
This week’s record
The headline was Salesforce’s agreement to acquire Contentful, against a week-long wave of agent-plus-MCP packages.
- Salesforce signed a definitive agreement to acquire Contentful and announced new marketing agents.
- Agent-plus-MCP wave: four vendors shipped agent-plus-MCP packages in the same window (Optimove, Bloomreach, MoEngage, Salesforce).
- MCP into measurement and GTM data: MCP extended into the measurement and GTM-data layers via Lifesight and ZoomInfo.
- Bloomreach also shipped changelog 1.311.
- HubSpot and Adobe Journey Optimizer added incremental product updates.

How this is compiled. Each edition is assembled from official vendor release notes, changelogs, and corporate newsrooms, with AI assistance for the first-pass scan, then reviewed and edited by me before publishing.
